What is Sallow Skin & How to Help

What is Sallow Skin?

In order to prevent sallow skin, the first thing to do is to practice good health habits. These include having a proper diet, adequate hydration, quitting smoking, and getting a substantial amount of sleep.

In terms of habits, experts recommend that you maintain healthy skin habits, such as developing a solid skincare routine that includes cleansing daily (to remove dirt, grime, and oil) and using a variety of products such as serums, eye creams, and moisturizers that cater to your specific skin type (whether combination, oily, or dry).

By doing so, you will be able to target your very specific skin challenges and lock in the necessary moisture so that your skin has a shield of protection.

Even if the skin does not seem dry, it still needs to have a moisturizing layer of protection each day. And so, if you choose not to use a moisturizer daily, this will likely lead to the skin barrier becoming weak and vulnerable.

One of the important products to include in your regimen is sunscreen, regardless of whether it is sunny outside or not.

By using sunscreen, you will be able to ensure full protection and prevent any sun damage, which then has the potential of turning into cancer or another fatal disease in the future.
